We are looking for a software developer (m/f/d) on high level programming language for special projects combining digitalization and automation. Responsibilities: software developer on high level programming language for special projects combining digitalization and automation, in coordination with the lead software architect and her/his peers combine high level programming language knowledge with automation programming, in collaboration with the electrical engineering/automation specialists create from scratch data flow diagrams for new applications, as well as properly configure the database for new applications and new company software collaborate and learn from your peers in the company and become an expert in the software solutions and products of the company's digitalization team programming of 3D visualizations and interactions with advanced sensors like laser and radar scanners from various suppliers programming of special software solutions for the company either from scratch or rewriting existing systems understand the company’s software programming philosophy (i.e. “BG CORE”/”BG FUSION”) and apply it to the new software product – follow corporate standards Requirements: know-how on modern programming languages (i.e. C#, VB, Java, Python) as well as on so called legacy programming languages (i.e. C, C++, Delphi) proven knowledge in creating special software for companies in similar industries (EPC to mining/bulk material handling/processing), based on specific requirements coming from the internal teams capable to deeply understand company’s machines portfolio and the engineering concept behind it, bringing also engineering knowledge from previous experiences in similar industries very good on customer interface and documentation is a must, as all projects will require process documentation for commissioning and running phase with the customer capable of work on various programming languages and interact with automation interfaces such as PLC (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, GE), HMI, SCADA and others Desired requirements: preferably with years or know-how with mining and material handling machines software progamming flexible to develop and support several types of software, external products and internal support tools automation level programming know-how Why FAM Minerals & Mining GmbH?
