The Job
This mid level Software Developer role is a technical hands-on with an emphasis on delivering quality code as an individual contributor. Working in Product Customisation alongside other developers, BA’s and QA’s.
Covering internal projects, related to support and enhancements to internal systems and reporting on data.

What You’ll Do

  • Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to coding standards.
  • Assist with exploring of AI tools.
  • Technical troubleshooting.
  • Be passionate about data analysis, optimisation of code and queries and interested in innovation.
  • Ability to work diligently, independently and with a team, including a team across different time zones.
  • Demonstrate behaviour that represents the high technical standards expected from Simpro Developers and to work to apply this culture consistently across their work.

What You’ll Bring

  • Required: PHP and Symfony Framework
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Working knowledge of AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS and HTML templating
  • Familiarity with Docker a bonus
  • Experience with AI tools like Copilot, Gemini, writing meaningful prompts
