Summary: We are currently seeking a Software Developer, Mobile to join our Engineering team out of one of our hub locations (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto). This role is for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions and being exposed to new challenges and technologies while making an impact. All hub-based Clions are expected to be in office minimum twice per week on one of our Anchor Days. To enable our engineers to build the best product they can, our development team has to build the best possible product that is performant, reliable, scalable, and beautiful. A day in the life might look like: Work with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customers Work in an agile environment with our team of full stack developers across a variety of projects Using a wide variety of technologies, learning new things, and challenging yourself Participating in diverse projects and collaborating with multiple engineering teams across three countries Review and provide feedback on a peer's code, both from within your own team or across all of Clio What you may have: Experience in software development, specifically with building mobile and web applications at scale utilizing React Native, Typescript/Javascript, and Ruby on Rails (additionally, Swift, Kotlin/Java) Database optimization experience Experience working with large-scale systems The ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in an ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customers A diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems A history of successful projects (as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects) Clear communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow Clions and customers Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI What you will find here: Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency. *Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
