This is a key position responsible for delivering software solutions as a critical part of MTF Finance’s core delivery teams. This role is primarily engaged in hands-on software development, and supports the wider team’s commitment to continual improvement in both quality and efficiency.

• Actively participate in software delivery initiatives, contributing to solution design, code quality, and creating clear, detailed documentation
• Deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with MTF Finance’s architectural principles while minimising technical debt
• Demonstrate a strong focus on quality assurance, automated testing, and security-by-design practices
• Stay updated with the latest tools and standards, maintain certifications, and support team growth through research and innovation
• Embed risk management practices into solution design, track technical debt, and prioritise security in line with organisational principles
• Engage in peer reviews, scrum ceremonies, and team development activities to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

You’ll need to have:

• 5+ years of software delivery within scrum teams preferred
• Proven success within high performing software delivery teams
• Proven success embedding best practice IT principles
• Proven success implementing innovative technologies with measurable business outcomes
• An energetic, compelling and highly organised individual with the ability to operate effectively within an Agile structure
• Excellent communication skills, able to describe complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Current experience in full stack development (.NET, Node.js or Nest.js, MySQL, Vue.js are essential skills at MTF Finance), public cloud delivery (specifically Microsoft Azure), and contemporary integration practices.
