Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to John Slager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Preferably finished studies in Computer or Software Engineering,
  • Preferably with previous experience in the railway industry or in Passenger Information Systems,
  • Proven experience with C++ on Linux are a key skill for this role,
  • Experience with virtual machines, Jenkins and GitLab,
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, CSS are nice to have,
  • Fluent in English, intermediate German level expected
