Leveraging deep fundamental analysis and extensive market expertise, we trade with precision and speed. Our mission is to the support the energy transition by enabling efficient and informed participation in European power markets.
We’re looking for a Software Developer for the development and operational support of the Priogen tech stack in supporting the business processes. You will join the Tech Department and report directly to the Team Lead Software Development.
In the Software Development team, we own the projects we build and support, we work in an agile environment with a culture of continuous feedback and knowledge sharing, and we work on technical solutions that serve other engineering, data or business teams, simplifying problems like computing, storing, and data visualisation.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Build and maintain high quality backend and frontend systems using Python, TypeScript, Nextjs and AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS).
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to define requirements, best practices, and deliverables.
  • Use version control systems to manage source code.
  • Mentor colleagues in repository workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently and maintain team productivity.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for all software components and workflows.
  • Support onboarding and training of team members of software tools and applications.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Strong communication skills and be a team player.
  • Hands on experience with cloud providers (preferably AWS).
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript.
  • Skill in data processing and visualisation techniques.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Next.js, React, or Angular.
  • Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservice architectures.
  • AWS certification is a plus!
