Your tasks

• You will develop new backend applications and services using Python and continuously improve existing solutions.
• You design cloud-native and serverless architectures within an AWS environment.
• You implement scalable functions and services based on AWS Lambda, among other things.
• You develop interfaces and APIs for integrating different applications, data sources, and business processes.
• You design event-based workflows and automate recurring processes using suitable cloud services.
• You process and structure data within modern AWS-based solutions.
• You combine different cloud components to create stable, maintainable, and scalable applications.
• You accompany your solutions throughout the entire development cycle and take responsibility for quality and technical sustainability.
• You work closely with your development team and various departments, translating technical requirements into practical technical solutions.
• You contribute your own ideas for the further development of architecture, development standards and working methods.

Your profile

• You have solid professional experience in software or backend development and feel comfortable in production-like development environments.
• Python is one of your core programming languages, and you have already implemented professional applications or services with it.
• You have practical experience with AWS and understand the basic principles of cloud-native software development.
• Ideally, you have already developed applications with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
• You are familiar with using object-based storage services like Amazon S3.
• You can confidently classify and implement REST APIs and modern interface concepts.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging, or asynchronous processing is advantageous.
• Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge or DynamoDB complements your profile.
• Topics such as automated testing, version control and CI/CD are part of professional software development for you.
• You don't just want to process requirements, but rather understand technical contexts and actively contribute to shaping technical solutions.
