Job Overview:
Safe-Guard is seeking a proactive and innovative Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure that high availability, security, and performance standards are met by adhering to best coding and security practices, implementing robust testing and coverage, and continuously optimizing application performance. This hands-on position will challenge you to transform technical requirements into robust, user-focused applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Angular (TypeScript), with experience in developing complex, high-performance applications
• In-depth understanding of front-end and back-end development processes
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check

Preferences:

• Experience with caching optimizations and state management
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker

• Develop and maintain complex software applications using Angular and NestJS
• Adhere to best coding and security practices. Implement unit testing and code coverage standards
• Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve the performance of existing applications
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the use of cutting-edge solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full development stack
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
