KEY REQUIREMENTS:

The ability to work and thrive in high pressure environment is essential. This role will report to the Application Development Team Lead for technical delivery of strategic projects.

• At least Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar domain. Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.
• More than 3 years development experience preferably in a financial institution
• Technical/platform knowledge on Collection domain (e.g., collection system CACS) will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of COBOL with sufficiently number of written batch and online programs
• Good working knowledge of AS400 and OS400
• Working knowledge of RPG and Java languages
• Working knowledge with Linux servers
• Working knowledge of CICS and Red Hat
• Working knowledge of WebSphere, MQ and IBM HTTPS
• Working knowledge with change management and job scheduling tools
• Build and maintain good relationship within team and across all departments within the organization.

Ability to communicate effectively within team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program design, development, and unit testing.
• Provide support SIT, UAT and MR
• Prepare and manage implementation and provide post implementation support.
• Ensure project documentation is done up in accordance with Bank SDM standards.
• Ensure assigned deliveries are timely and good quality.
  Escalate issues that impacts deliverables assigned on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.
