SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - SENIOR:

On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking senior Software Developers to assist in building a modern digital information system and its integration with other applications. This project involves developing a cloud-based system and ensuring seamless integration with internal and external systems.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Over 8+ years of experience in the entire Software Development Life Cycle and Microsoft .Net Framework Technologies
• Experience in developing web-based B2B and B2C applications in a client/server environment
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including installation, configuration, and customization
• Hands-on experience with C#, .net Core, ADO.net, SQL Server, and .Net Framework
• Expertise in database systems, SQL, and stored procedures
• Strong knowledge of Web Development skills like HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and Visual Studio
• Excellent analytical, logical, and interpersonal skills

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with Microsoft IIS 7.0/8.0
• Familiarity with ASP.NET, MVC, AJAX, WPF, WCF, Windows & Web Services
• Experience with Crystal reports, Excel, SSRS
• Knowledge of data migration and reporting tools like SSIS, LINQ, SSRS
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Provide application support
• Support the testing team during system and UAT testing
• Prepare deployment packages of code and instructions for builds in Development, UAT, and Production environments
• Participate in Knowledge transfer
