Web developer (m/f/d) specializing in PHP and JavaScript

Here's what you can expect:

• Further development of the digital products of the HAAS Media Group, in particular our news portals (e.g. www.mannheimer-morgen.de )
• Efficient programming with the help of AI
• Exchange with product management on technical concepts and solutions
• Agreement with technical service providers
• Independent management of web projects

You bring the following:

• You have professional experience in web development.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, SCSS and modern JavaScript (ES6 and above) as well as object-oriented PHP and relational database systems (e.g. MySQL)
• Several years of experience working with AWS and managing cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform
• You are familiar with the usual web development tools (Composer, NPM/yarn, Webpack, etc.) as well as SCM platforms like GitHub and Bitbucket.
• You've also worked with Docker before.
• Furthermore, you have experience working with Linux shells and configuring hosting environments (LAMP).
• If you have already worked with templating engines (TAL, Twig, Handlebars) and reactive libraries (e.g., Vue.js/React), that would be an advantage.
• The same applies to redFACT and Piano
• You are familiar with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
• You speak German and have good English skills.
