Trilogy Innovations is seeking Senior Software Developers with OpenShift experience to remotely support our federal customer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our federal customer’s large-scale IT systems. This role requires at least a Secret Security Clearance, and primary work location is remote.
This position can expect to be on the on-call list one (1) week out of every four (4) weeks. On-call personnel will acknowledge contact for on-call assistance (phone call, text, etc.) within fifteen (15) minutes of the contact. On-call personnel shall be within a reasonable distance of their provided secure laptop and shall log into their secure laptop and begin assessing/diagnosing/troubleshooting the request for on-call assistance within sixty (60) minutes of the contact.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Current experience with OpenShift
• Proficient with Java Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience with Cloud-native architectures
• Event-driven architectures; streaming (preferred).
• Experience with Kubernetes; automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
• Experience running GitOps (GitLab, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, Tecton, etc.)
• Experience with large scale systems

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Pub/Sub (Publish, subscribe).
• Streaming experience
• Event sourcing
• Experience with OpenTelemetry
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) is a plus.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
• Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
• OpenShift Experience
• Java (OOP) Full Stack Development with proficiency programming in Java
• Experience with Containerization and Kubernetes
• Ability for on-call support. These positions can expect to be on the on-call list one (1) week out of every four (4) weeks.

• Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
• Designs embedded systems software.
• Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
