Responsibilities

THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a team developing our web-based services. The team’s responsibility area spans from identity and license management to developing, integrating and maintaining different systems running in the cloud.
The team members work together on shared goals and are the owners of the team’s product area. All our teams also take care of our platform’s upkeep and architecture together with neighboring teams.
You would join our team located in Espoo and Tampere, but we support you if you want to work remotely from any other place in Finland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop frontend and backend systems with a focus in ease-of-use, security, and performance
  • Optimize and maintain relational and document databases
  • Improve desktop application with web-based services
  • Support in integrating systems into cloud platforms
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance web-based services to ensure reliability

SKILLS IMPORTANT FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies and tools
  • Experience with C# and .NET
  • Experience with web frontend (TypeScript, Vue.js)
  • Experience with system and service integrations (API design, REST, JSON)
  • Knowledge of database design and object-relational mapping, experience in working with relational and document databases
  • Experience in identity and access management (IAM)
  • Experience in building cloud-native solutions with MS Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms
  • Exposure to cyber-security (OWASP)
