About the Opportunity: As a Software Development Team Lead, you will guide a high‑performing development team responsible for delivering scalable, reliable, and innovative software solutions across our global technology ecosystem. You’ll balance hands‑on coding with leadership—driving technical excellence, coaching developers, improving delivery practices, and ensuring the team consistently ships high‑quality features. You will also play a key role in shaping how the organization adopts and leverages AI responsibly. This includes championing AI‑assisted development practices, ensuring AI tools elevate productivity, following best practices, without affecting negatively code quality and company standards This role is ideal for a strong senior developer ready to step into leadership or an experienced lead who thrives in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment. You’ll mentor developers, influence architecture decisions, guide AI‑enhanced workflows, and help shape the future of our platform. Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management * Lead, mentor, and support a team of software developers—providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and technical problem‑solving. * Facilitate sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Support professional development through coaching, feedback, and structured growth plans. * Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables. * Champion a culture of responsibleAI adoption, ensuring AI tools enhance productivity, collaboration, and development accuracy. * Guide developers on how to useAI copilots, code assistants, and automation effectively. AI Leadership * Establish and promote best practices for AI-assisted development, ensuring AI-generated code meets security, reliability, and maintainability standards. * Evaluate, integrate, and optimize AI tools that support coding, testing, documentation, and architectural decision-making. * Monitor and measure the impact of AI adoption to ensure it drives higher-quality deliverables and improved team efficiency. Technical Ownership * Contribute hands‑on to codebases using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Vue.js/React, and back‑end services inNestJS. * Over see architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. * Drive technical design discussions, system improvements, and modernization initiatives. * Ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to engineering standards. * LeverageAI-assisted refactoring, test generation, and static analysis to improve code quality and maintainability. Delivery & Process Excellence * Foster a high-output agile culture with predictable delivery and continuous learning. * Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce technical debt. * Collaborate with DevOps and engineering leadership on deployments, monitoring, and incident response. * Advocate for secure, clean, and maintain able code at all times. * Drive adoption of AI in CI/CD, testing automation, and defect detection to improve release confidence and stability. Qualifications: * 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or team‑lead capacity (formal or informal). * Proven track record delivering modern, scalable web applications in a fast-paced environment. * Experience using or overseeing AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, code generation, automated testing). Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue.js or React. * Experience building back-end services withNestJS. * Deep understanding of MySQL and relational data modeling. * Experience with Docker, containerization, and modern deployment flows. * Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary JS frameworks. * Ability to debug complex issues across front-end and back-end systems. * Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows, prompt engineering, or model evaluation is an asset. Nice to Have: * Experience with secure development practices. * Familiarity withGraphQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes. * Background in microservices and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). * Exposure to PHP frameworks (Zend, Laravel, Symfony,PHPDoctrine). * Multilingual abilities area plus. * Experience implementing ML/AI pipelines, integrating AI APIs, or leading AI enablement initiatives.
