For our client, a leading company in the defense and security technology sector that develops innovative solutions for sensor and electronic systems, we are seeking a Software Developer for Test Automation (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for the development and integration of automated test systems for quality assurance of complex electronic products.

Job description

• Development of test applications: Conception and implementation of automated test applications for production and customer testing
• Integration of drivers: Development and integration of drivers for controlling various stimuli and measuring devices.
• Support of existing test systems: Analysis and correction of errors as well as conducting obsolescence analyses.
• Documentation and configuration: Creation and maintenance of software documentation as well as configuration management.
• Analysis and optimization of test processes: Continuous improvement of test processes and systems
• Collaboration with internal departments: Coordination with development and production teams to ensure testing requirements are met.

Profile

• A very good Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the development of test systems, preferably with C/C++ or the NI toolchain (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand)
• Knowledge of measurement technology, especially in optical, analog and digital measurement technology
• Fluent German skills and proficient English skills
• Structured and solution-oriented work style as well as teamwork skills
