Description

Who We Are Looking For

As a Software Developer, you are responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining custom applications that support the needs of our studio. Working directly with operational teams and end users, you will develop an understanding of their workflows and translate identified problems and requirements into effective software solutions. You will own defined features and areas of applications from concept through implementation, working across the full technology stack and collaborating with other developers throughout the development lifecycle.

This posting is for an existing vacancy.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with the development team to design, build, deploy, and maintain full-stack software solutions that improve processes, workflows, and decision-making across the studio using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and C# with ASP.NET Core.
  • Collaborate with other developers on applications and features throughout their lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping through release, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the design, development, and integration of APIs and services that connect project, business, and third-party data.
  • Contribute to application infrastructure and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, environment configuration, and application troubleshooting.
  • Work directly with stakeholders and end users across the studio, including architects, to understand business needs, identify opportunities, define requirements, and translate problems into reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
  • Prototype and evaluate new technologies, approaches, and integrations to determine their value before moving them into production.
  • Develop and improve consistent data workflows and explore opportunities to apply machine learning, AI, and emerging technologies to studio challenges.

What you will bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Full-stack software development experience, with the ability to contribute across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and deployment.
  • Back-end development experience within the .NET ecosystem, including C# and ASP.NET Core, or experience with a comparable managed language such as Java.
  • Experience building modern, responsive user interfaces using React.js or another front-end framework such as Angular or Vue.js, with a solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows using platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and communication skills, with the ability to independently evaluate and explain technical concepts, constraints, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Autodesk technologies, including the Revit API or Autodesk Platform Services APIs, is considered an asset.
