About the job you’re considering We are seeking an intermediate-level Test Development Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our dynamic team. This role sits at the intersection of software testing and development, requiring the design of comprehensive test strategies while also contributing to firmware test automation and application development. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality assurance and robust software solutions. Your role Design and implement test strategies Collaborate with developers to create meaningful test plans that address user requirements Analyze specifications and requirements to develop effective test cases Participate in requirements analysis sessions to ensure testability Develop automated test scripts and maintain test infrastructure for firmware Work closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Contribute to continuous improvement of quality methodologies trough SDLC Your skills and experience 5-8 years of software quality experience 4 years of test automation experience in python/pytest Proficient in test planning, design, and strategy development for industrial products Experience with test automation frameworks and tools Nice to have Experience in energy meters software quality Experience with C or C++ programming Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles Familiarity with application-level programming Experience in agile development environments.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing.
