Description

Our client is an innovative HealthTech SaaS company building modern, scalable solutions that transform how businesses approach providing care. Quality is at the heart of their product, and they are expanding their QA engineering team to ensure flawless user experiences as they scale.
They are seeking a Mid-Level SDET with strong expertise in Playwright to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks, enabling faster delivery and higher confidence in production releases.
This role is hybrid with expectations to be onsite 3x a week.

As an SDET, you will:

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright for end-to-end testing
  • Write, execute, and debug automated test scripts for web applications built with modern stacks (React, Node.js, TypeScript)
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategies and ensure coverage
  • Build reusable test components and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
  • Investigate failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering to resolve defects quickly
  • Contribute to performance, accessibility, and regression testing initiatives
  • Advocate for quality best practices and help shift testing left in the development lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in test automation / SDET roles
  • Hands-on expertise with Playwright
  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (experience with other languages is a plus)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build workflows
  • Experience testing web applications (React or similar front-end frameworks)
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
  • Understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, performance, end-to-end)
  • Bonus: exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS), Docker, or Kubernetes

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Application Question(s):

  • How many years of Playwright experience do you have?
