As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing advanced software systems that power the next generation of computer assisted and robotic surgery. Based in Pittsburgh, PA, this is an opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation, engineering excellence, and meaningful healthcare impact. What will you be doing? Designing and implementing software for robotic and computer assisted surgical applications Developing, documenting, and executing tests to ensure software performance, reliability, and safety Prototyping and innovating solutions that improve system accuracy, usability, and performance Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, clinical, and research partners Contributing to technical discussions and solving complex problems across project teams What will you need to be successful? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred 3 plus years of experience developing large scale C++ applications in Linux or Unix environments Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, Make, and CMake Knowledge of applied linear algebra, UI or graphical application development, and data analysis tools such as MATLAB **This position does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future** You Unlimited.
