DESCRIPTION APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, develop and automate software tests for the validation of firmware and software related to Near Field Communication and Secure Element Chipsets. Develop scripts in Python to automate test cases. Analyze technical software specifications and derive test plans and tests specifications. Develop simulation software and applications. Fill detailed bug reports. Support the test infrastructure through the design of new test frameworks and implementation of enhancements to existing test framework. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience and/or education must include: Using git/version control and the development integration lifecycle with CI/CD systems Studying and learning specifications, turning them into robust test plans Utilizing strong object-oriented programming and design skills in Python and structured programming in C Debugging and reading logs with goal of filing detailed bug reports Maintaining and enhancing test frameworks to support triaging of test results HW and SW interaction including low level data processing Building statistics and data analysis from sensor data using Python PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS N/A
