Description
  • Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of experience in software development for embedded systems
  • Good understanding of embedded software development processes and methods
  • Knowledge of software architecture principles and embedded software design
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion, IBM DOORS or equivalent
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, functional safety concepts, Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), and preferably AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive Platform)
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion
  • Hands-on expertise in conducting technical, architecture, and requirements reviews
  • Experience with UML and/or SysML modeling and Enterprise Architect or comparable modeling tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Fluent in German and English

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and maintain requirements for embedded software systems
  • Collaborate with customers, system engineers, software developers, and project stakeholders to define software requirements
  • Translate system requirements into detailed software requirements and ensure their consistency and completeness
  • Contribute to the definition and evaluation of software architectures for embedded applications
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, software architecture, implementation, and verification
  • Work on architecture, design concepts and requirements elicitation
  • Support the development of safety-related software in accordance with ISO 26262 and consideration of Cyber Security according to ISO/SAE 21434
  • Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of development processes compliant with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
  • Work closely with software developers, test engineers, system architects, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle and guide them based on your expertise
