Overview Put your programming skills to the test as you work alongside senior staff to design and develop the next generation of Esri's innovative software. Responsibilities Depending on your areas of study and interest, you'll work on our desktop, web, mobile, 2D/3D visualization, imagery, or core server team. This past summer, interns in Software Development worked on a wide range of challenging projects such as Creating, running, and analyzing automated and manual tests for the latest version of ArcGIS Desktop Creating Python scripts to verify geocoding requests for addresses all over the world Designing, implementing, and testing point-to-point routing functionality for the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android Requirements Majoring in computer science Knowledge in one or more of these programming languages: C++, C#, .NET, Silverlight, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, or web and/or mobile technology Existing work authorization for China Recommended Qualifications #LI-Onsite #LI-JO1 The Company At Esri, diversity is more than just a word on a map.
