Job Title: Software Development Manager

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager to lead the development and maintenance of multiple enterprise applications simultaneously. This role involves managing a blended team of full-time and contracted developers, applying SDLC best practices, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in .NET technologies and relational databases, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years – Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle experience.
  • 10 years – Hands-on experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
  • 10 years – Effective verbal and written communication with customers and teams.
  • 5 years – Estimating work with accurate timelines and resource requirements.
  • 5 years – Experience with Agile/Scrum and traditional SDLC methodologies.
  • 5 years – Proficiency in ETL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
  • 5 years – Experience managing both full-time and contract developers.
  • 5 years – Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket).
  • 3 years – Leadership or management role overseeing enterprise development teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years – Government or Education enterprise solutions experience.
  • 3 years – Experience with Blazor Server or Blazor WSM.
  • 2 years – Power BI experience.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, including but not limited to Power BI.
