EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE
Software development leadership experience, including experience writing and/or testing software applications, leading teams and improving the software development lifecycle.
Extensive development experience, preferably more than 15yrs, of releasing software for desktop and cloud with complex user interfaces. Experience in developing molecular diagnostic applications is desired.
Familiarity with one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript and development tools and technologies such as: Virtualization, Docker, cloud applications.
Ability to work well independently and lead a team.
Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills.

Software engineering leadership, especially staffing and growing teams.
Software development experience with innovative practices, such as Agile Development.
Proficient written and verbal communication in the English language.

Responsibilities:
Lead a software team for genetic analysis applications and support them with software architecture, development process and software quality competence.
Participate in project planning for feature content, timeline and scope.
Collaborate with other teams to resolve technical problems and provide solutions.
Improve team skills, development practices and provide learning opportunities for your team.
