Role Overview

iSteer is looking for an experienced Apigee Architect to design, govern, and deliver enterprise API management solutions using the Google Apigee Platform. The role involves defining API strategies, API-led architecture, governance frameworks, security standards, lifecycle management practices, and providing technical leadership for enterprise digital transformation initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise API management architecture using Apigee.
• Design scalable, secure, and reusable API solutions and API ecosystems.
• Develop API strategy, governance models, lifecycle management practices, and implementation roadmaps.
• Design and configure Apigee API Proxies, Products, Developers, Apps, Portals, Policies, and Flows.
• Implement REST APIs, SOAP services, microservices, and backend integrations.
• Define API security standards using OAuth, JWT, TLS, API Keys, and policies.
• Design API gateway patterns, traffic management, caching, throttling, and rate limiting strategies.
• Establish API governance standards and conduct API design reviews.
• Ensure APIs meet enterprise requirements for security, performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Design hybrid and cloud API management solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture guidance, and solution reviews.
