Description The Role We design and maintain internal software systems that support Acutec’s manufacturing operations — production scheduling, job setup, tool inventory management, shop floor visibility, and operational reporting. You will be one of three engineers responsible for software that directly impacts daily production performance. This is high-ownership work in a complex, constraint-driven Job Shop environment. We work closely with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Leadership to translate manufacturing challenges into practical software solutions. We are also laying the foundation for future data-driven optimization and advanced analytics capabilities. What You’ll Do Implement and maintain internal systems and web applications, primarily using C#, SQL, and JavaScript Communicate with stakeholders across departments throughout the company via email, phone, and in-person Adapt and align systems when company processes and requirements change Troubleshoot production-impacting issues with urgency and ownership The problems are practical, complex, and operationally critical. What you build today will directly influence production tomorrow. Requirements What You’ll Bring Experience developing software systems A desire to serve and support Acutec’s employees and operations through software that’s reliable and meets business needs Strong analytical and systems-thinking[BZ1] abilities- considering how changes affect the entire interconnected system, people, and processes Effective communication skills and comfort working across departments Ability to operate in a small, high-responsibility team Preferred Professional software development experience Manufacturing or Job Shop experience ERP integrations Interest in analytics and future data-driven optimization Experience working with SQL databases (schema and data management)
