As a seasoned developer with a passion for open source communities, you will be responsible for leading by example in the development process, mentoring junior developers, and fostering positive relationships within open source ecosystems. Your technical expertise in AI/ML, Agentic workflows and protocols, Python, Golang, Rust, Kubernetes, and related technologies will be instrumental in shaping the direction of the Agensys project.Responsibilities:Feature delivery: Implement and iterate on well-scoped features for agentic/AI infrastructure services.Code quality: Write readable, tested code and participate in reviews; help improve our CI/CD and developer experience.Design collaboration: Join design discussions and RFCs; provide feedback and propose pragmatic solutions.Operations: Help containerize, deploy, and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes.OSS collaboration: Triage issues, reproduce bugs, contribute patches, and engage respectfully with contributors/users.Documentation: Add and maintain user and developer docs for the areas you touch.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:3+ years of software development experience.Proficiency in at least one of: Go, Rust, or Python.Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or gRPC).Hands-on with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes fundamentals (pods, deployments, services, ingress).Familiarity with distributed systems concepts (concurrency, messaging, retries, idempotency).Comfort with Linux, Git, and modern CI/CD.Experience using AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Cline, Aider.chat).Clear communication and collaborative working style.Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.Problem-solving capabilities with proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Highly Desirable:Exposure to agentic workflows, autonomous agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and serverless AI functions.Experience with GPU-based workloads or inference systems.Familiarity with Kubernetes add-ons (CNI/CSI) and tooling; Cluster API exposure is a plus.Observability experience (Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring and troubleshooting.Contributions to open source projects (any level); experience with operators or client libraries is a plus.Polyglot mindset and willingness to learn new languages as needed.Additional InformationWhat does Mirantis offer you?Work with an established Silicon Valley leader in the cloud infrastructure industry.Work with exceptionally passionate, talented and engaging colleagues, helping Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers implement next-generation cloud technologies.Be a part of cutting-edge, open-source innovation.Thrive in the high-energy environment of a young company where openness, collaboration, risk-taking, and continuous growth are valued.Professional development and training.Attend conferences and working groups.Customized workstation (macOS, Windows).Professional development and training.A competitive compensation package with strong benefits plan and stock options.It is understood that Mirantis, Inc. may use automated decision-making technology (ADMT) for specific employment-related decisions.
