Ground-Breaking B2B Start-Up (18 months in and trading) seek a Talented Software Engineer (AI and Data) to join their small, but growing Team of 8.
The Role is based in Central London (Angel - Islington Tube) - A Hybrid Role with Tuesdays in the Office and a full week every 2 months (so you will comfortable getting to / working in London)
As a GenAI - Software engineer - You will have baseline of generalist skills (Definitely Python with Typescript and/or Javascript ideally
Building LLM-powered workflows to production quality, including being all over the monitoring and evaluation piece - to support the AI-powered features of the app that form its USP
Doing data and analytics (specifically, how key customer data is stored and build out the business analytics function)
Someone who has some basic awareness of the core tools of the trade and who could run them out at current scale (circa 12k users, 9 staff and a few strategic partners)
You will have proven experience shipping and operating AI-powered features in production (LLM APIs, real users, reliability, and quality at scale).
Hands-on background in designing evaluation, monitoring, and improvement flows for AI features; you care about measurement and learning, not just shipping fast.
Some experience in at building and adapting data/analytics pipelines for SaaS (data quality, privacy, actionable insight).
Able to write maintainable, production-grade Python and thrive in an autonomous, fast-moving environment.
Motivated by real-world impact and product ownership; you want to help define how AI is used in practice, not just research.
Bonus:
Enjoy shaping new features and user experience.
Experience with real-time or multimodal AI flows.
Knowledge of BI/ETL tools and what works as startups grow.
