Senior Software Engineer – AI & Intelligent ApplicationsLocation: Dublin – Hybrid, two days per week onsite, with Thursday as a core office daySalary: €90,000–€110,000

The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver modern applications, AI-enabled solutions and business automation tools.We are open to candidates from any technical background. Experience with one particular programming language is not essential—we are more interested in your ability to solve complex problems, make sound technical decisions and clearly explain why and how you built a solution.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain business-critical applications and services.
• Lead the delivery of solutions from initial requirements through to deployment and production support.
• Design AI and LLM-powered applications, including RAG architectures.
• Build cloud-based solutions using Azure and Azure AI Foundry.
• Develop APIs and integrations between internal and external platforms.
• Deliver workflow and automation solutions using Power Platform and Power Automate.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with responsible AI principles.
• Provide guidance on application architecture, security and technical design.
• Troubleshoot production issues and complete root-cause analysis.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders.

• Skills and ExperienceApproximately 5–6 years’ commercial software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Python, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or another modern programming language.
• Strong knowledge of cloud application development, ideally within Azure.
• Experience with AI technologies, LLMs, RAG architectures or Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience designing APIs, integrations, databases and application architectures.
• Familiarity with GitHub and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Knowledge of Power Platform and Power Automate is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of secure software design and responsible AI development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
• An adaptable mindset and willingness to work with emerging technologies.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate what they have built, the problem it addressed, why they selected their approach and how they overcame technical challenges.
