Tasks

• Responsibility for the evaluation, planning and implementation of all necessary activities in the software development process based on the defined software architecture.
• Analysis and reduction of complexity through structured decomposition of systems, creation of implementation concepts and software designs, and integration of individual development artifacts into a consistent overall solution.
• Review and evaluation of the overall architecture as well as the individual architectural elements with regard to compliance with time, quality and cost requirements.
• Close collaboration with the development team to coordinate tasks, solve technical issues, and remove obstacles in the development process.
• Supporting the team in the planning, management and successful implementation of work packages.
• Active participation in the continuous development of development processes, methods and technologies to ensure sustainable software quality.

Profile

• Successfully completed technical university studies or training as an IT specialist with further technical school qualification, specialist training and several years of relevant professional experience – alternatively a comparable qualification.
• Several years of practical experience in software development and/or software architecture .
• Strong teamwork skills and a passion for collaborating on interdisciplinary development projects.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in agile development processes and methods .
• Ability to independently and holistically implement software architecture and design specifications, taking into account defined processes and high quality standards.
• Excellent programming skills and experience in using established design patterns as well as common technologies and languages, such as Modern C++, Ansible or Terraform .
• Enthusiasm for automating deployment processes and providing system environments on integration and target systems.
• Strong project understanding with a solution-oriented approach, high resilience and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex technical frameworks.
• Good written and spoken English skills for collaboration in international project and customer environments.
