Software Engineer - Back End/AWS - 14+ yrs of Experience (PARTIAL TELEWORK) - TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required - BT Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Software Engineer with web services experience. Location: Annapolis Junction, MD/Hybrid Travel Required: No Shift: Day Remote Type: Hybrid (Up to 16 hours of telework dependent on tasking) Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI Polygraph: Required Salary Range The projected compensation range for this position is 224K - 231K (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. Requirements Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components Experience generating technical documentation Experience working in an Agile development environment Experience with Amazon Web Services Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software Experience with the following technologies: Git Java, C++, or Python Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) SQL Qualifications A Master's degree with eleven (11) years of software engineering experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with fourteen (14) years of software engineering experience in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university OR a High School Diploma or GED with eighteen (18) years of software engineering experience.
