Your tasks

As a Software Engineer at Ehrenmüller, you are the technological backbone of our AI projects. You accompany our solutions from the initial idea to go-live:

End-to-end responsibility: You are responsible for technical components, from backend services and APIs to AI pipelines and cloud infrastructure, from the initial architectural decision to secure live operation.
Cloud & Infrastructure: You implement, automate and deploy scalable backend and AI architectures on platforms in cloud environments (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP/…) and actively shape our cloud infrastructure.
API & System Design: You don't just use APIs, you design them. You ensure that our systems are robust, secure, and seamlessly integrable. For this, you use Python and ideally FastAPI.
Customer-focused implementation: You enjoy putting technical solutions into practice directly for and with our customers. You can convincingly justify your architectural decisions and you work analytically, conscientiously, and independently to familiarize yourself with new topics.
AI & Innovation: You will work hand in hand with our Data Scientists (MLOps), actively experiment with new tools in the software and AI ecosystem, and evaluate AI outputs with genuine engineering standards.

Your profile

We are looking for a true tech enthusiast who is hands-on and shares our passion for modern data architectures:

Experience that counts: You have at least 2 years of practical experience in software or AI engineering. You have already supported at least one production system that you are proud of and that you can explain to us in detail.
Background: You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical qualification.
Your tech stack: You are an expert in Python and have experience with a backend framework (e.g., FastAPI), are proficient in working with Linux-based systems, and have solid experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL). Code quality and clean software architecture are a given for you.
Cloud Native: You are at home in the cloud. Ideally, you have in-depth, practical experience with at least one cloud provider (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP/…) as well as Docker and know how to design resilient, secure, and scalable architectures.
DevOps & CI/CD: You build and maintain automated deployment pipelines and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
LLM & AI affinity: Ideally, you already have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and enjoy bringing state-of-the-art AI to the road technologically.
