Get to Know the Role As part of The Trust Engineering team, you'll design scalable systems, collaborate across functions, and drive impactful changes in a dynamic environment. You will be reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager based in Singapore The Critical Tasks You Will Perform Design and develop a robust, efficient, and scalable trust backend platform and tools to handle high traffic loads. Collaborate with product teams to understand and brainstorm goals, ensuring the development of user-friendly platforms that meet customer needs. Drive project goals, system architecture, and design decisions to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of backend services. Execute a long-term technical roadmap to align with the evolving needs of the platform and business. Mentor engineers across several experience levels, promoting a cohesive team culture and technical growth. Work with trust and risk specialists, domain experts, and data engineers to integrate solutions into the backend systems. Partner with regional Trust teams to implement strategies and tools that safeguard users and enhance platform integrity across entire south east asia. Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience driving complex technical projects. 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, C++. Experience with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), cloud services (AWS, GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation). Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. Experience engaging with AI tools and latest technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas. Desirable Experience Domain expertise in Trust, with experience building systems for fraud detection, risk assessment. Experience in a formal or informal technical leadership A demonstrated interest in applying modern AI technologies (such as LLMs, vector databases, or AI agents frameworks) as a tool to solve complex platform challenges.
