Brillio are in the market for a Software Engineer for one of our customers in the financial services space.

PLEASE NOTE - Candidate Must be based in Dublin.

• Lead the design and development of web applications using Angular for Front End and Java for Back End.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with Angular components.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose adoption where beneficial.
• Ensure adherence to Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Angular (v8+) and Java (Spring Boot preferred).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, RxJS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of Java frameworks, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
