JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Remote/Onsite
STATUS: Full-time, 1099 (Independent Contractor); 6-8 months of work

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a B.S. in an Engineering or Computer Science field. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, if applicable and or allowed under assigned contract.
- 2+ years relevant work experience
- Unity experience
- Experience with simulation systems, ability to work within a team environment, and proficiency with Git
- Debugging and problem-solving skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with simulation and/or game engine development, including real-time simulations, optional
- Proficiency in use of modeling languages and tools, including Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Cameo, Rhapsody, or similar
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience conducting technical reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet tools (Word, Excel)
