With offices in the United States and Denmark, Clinical Ink is rewriting the clinical development experience.  Job Description Clinical Ink is seeking an Sr. Software Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Lab. In this role, you will own the design, implementation, and validation of innovative engineering projects throughout the company. The Sr. Software Engineer's responsibilities include: * Innovation: Own the design, implementation, and validation of innovative engineering projects throughout the company, including: * Design and integrate RESTful and event-driven APIs to support secure data exchange between mobile apps, backend services, and data pipelines * Implement reliable data synchronization workflows for intermittently connected devices and users * Rapidly iterate on prototypes, applying modern software development practices such as modular design, feature flags, and experimentation frameworks. * Collaborate with platform, data, and AI teams to ensure solutions align with backend architectures, APIs, and evolving data models. * AI Services: Deliver best in class AI solutions that also adhere to strict regulatory compliance requirements for healthcare and security (HIPAA, GDPR, etc) * End to End Delivery: Own the design, implementation, validation of AI services * Service Level Ownership: Work with DevOps and engineering to deploy AI products in production environments and monitor performance over time to meet Service Level Objectives   Qualifications * 5-7+ years of experience in software development with strong full stack experience * Familiarity with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, any data pipelining tools * Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and AWS services for secure data transmission and backend integration * Experience designing and consuming backend services * Experience delivering products end to end * Track record of delivering and maintaining infrastructure at scale – both for size - high volume of data & for time - high frequency event ingestion * Proficient with Infrastructure as Code patterns (Terraform / Helm / etc) * Working knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and logging. * Understanding of healthcare data privacy and mobile app security. * Passion for innovation in digital health, emerging software patterns, and rapid prototyping. * Familiarity and ownership of Service Level Objectives for products you have shipped   Additional Information Clinical Ink is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against otherwise qualified applicants on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability or handicap, or veteran status.  www.clinicalink.com
