We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who strives for engineering excellence and excels in constantly changing environments. You are excited about systems architecture and modern technologies (Edge computing, IoT, PaaS offerings at a global scale). You want to take part in shaping the future of IKEA influencing the hosting services of approximately 500 distributed sites! We are looking for a new colleague.
To succeed as a Software Engineer you will have:
-
- We believe you have several years of managing Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI). You are willing to grow into other Infrastructure area such as Open-Source hosting.
- Good Experience of automation and scripting/coding (Go, Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell) to enable infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of common development concepts such as Git, CI/CD and working with REST API’s
- MS Windows and Linux server experience
- Knowledge in server management, monitoring, dashboard creation in enterprise environment
- Basic knowledge of Network stack
- Constant desire to learn, improve and enable other to grow in your area of expertise
- Experience from a retail or distribution business is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- We believe you have experience in designing and managing high availability solution including clustering.
