Responsibilities Design, implement, and validate robust financial logic and testing infrastructure, primarily using Python. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to team members. Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to transform ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications. Work with the team to establish and promote a culture of quality and engineering excellence. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively both independently and as part of a team. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in Python or a strong understanding of a similar hashmap-heavy dynamic language (e.g., JavaScript, Ruby, Perl). Experience working on product cores, engines, or infrastructure software is a strong advantage. Experience in environments with a low margin for error (e.g., embedded systems, medical applications) is a plus. Exposure to highly regulated industries such as fintech or medical systems is a strong advantage. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. Hands-on experience with AI. Claude is a strong advantage. Familiarity with event streaming and messaging platforms such as Kafka. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
