You have experience with JVM-based languages like Java or Kotlin. Knowledge of the Spring Boot framework is a plus.
Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications.
Hands-on experience with microservices and cloud architectures.
As we are working with infrastructure based on Kubernetes, some experience in utilising the tools is a bonus.
Knowledge in architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, event-driven development, quality assurance, and testing methods.
Experience in data structures and SQL (NoSQL is a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment.

Join our Logistics “Core Abilities (Warehouse Management System)” Engineering team as a Software Engineer and help us deliver a high-performance, stable, auto-scaling software system that will have a direct impact on our customers’ happiness.
As a member of our team, you will have the chance to play a critical role in the development of our next-generation Warehouse Management System, which is responsible for handling the delivery of countless products to our customers. You’ll be working alongside a group of talented engineers to create innovative solutions for managing orders, products, and physical entities as well as processes & tools for workflow management & optimization of the workflow within our warehouses.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

Actively participate in each stage of the development cycle - from solution design to implementation, testing, and operating your code in an agile environment
Play a main role in the design, development, and deployment of the team’s systems which are used by our colleagues in our logistics centers
Design, build and maintain software architecture for products that evolve over time while closely collaborating with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to be in line with our overall tech strategy and architecture
Continuously ship high-quality testable and reliable systems, and support others to do so through reviews and mentorship
Iteratively test features with stakeholders whilst keeping the big picture in mind
