SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/ENGINEER

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs/upgrades software applications and operating systems in the development space. Production will be managed by Network or System Administrators. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Provides 3rd level of technical support to IT help desk as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field and/or relevant experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with C# or Java programming; SQL Databases; SQL Server Administration, and Azure DevOps. Experience with DevExpress libraries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing Microsoft .NET WinForms/ASP.NET Web applications in C# or demonstrated Java experience.
• A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in object-oriented design, database schemas, application architecture, and software design practices.

  Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Peachtree Corners, GA 3007

• Analysis, Design, and Programming of internal software in C#
• Utilizes software engineering tools such as change management systems (CMDB), build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.
• Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.
• Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.
• Works collaboratively and professionally with others in cross functional teams to achieve goals.
• Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion.
• Participate in product and/or application definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs.
