At Danfoss Climate Solutions, for our office in Gorinchem (Netherlands), we are searching for a motivated Software Engineer ready to thrive in a dynamic environment where cutting-edge technologies meet agile methodologies (Scrum) to deliver innovative solutions.
You will join a team working with Microsoft technologies while collaborating closely with our support desk to ensure our software solutions remain robust and aligned with customer needs. This role offers a unique blend of developing new features and contributing directly to operational excellence in a setting that values teamwork and continuous improvement.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

• Solid academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, with a strong theoretical foundation in programming and software development.
• Experience in designing and developing complex software systems, particularly web applications for managing cooling systems, targeted at various industries such as supermarkets, hotels, distribution centers etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, for building scalable and efficient solutions.
• Expertise in integrating REST APIs to ensure seamless communication between different systems and applications.
• Experience with MongoDB, React, and other web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML) to develop intuitive and functional user interfaces.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps for managing the software lifecycle and automating development processes.
• Solid understanding of Scrum methodologies, with the ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate effectively with the team for continuous improvement of software solutions.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, for communication with international teams and clients.

• Develop and maintain software applications for managing cooling systems, supporting software solutions for equipment management in stores, supermarkets, hotels, distribution centers etc.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize workflows and user interfaces, ensuring the best possible experience for customers.
• Manage and develop REST APIs to ensure smooth and scalable integration between various systems and applications.
• Use version control and code management tools to optimize the workflow and software lifecycle.
• Actively participate in Scrum processes, contributing to continuous improvement and the development of new features in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Support the support team in resolving complex technical issues, working closely together to respond promptly to customer needs and deliver timely, effective solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain high-quality standards, ensuring the robustness and reliability of solutions.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and a constant willingness to learn and face new challenges, with the goal of continuously improving solutions and meeting customer needs.
