    We are currently looking for a Automation tester within Financieren Housing for the Data & Reporting department. As a tester, along with the team, you are responsible for the (technical) implementation and validation of our data quality rules.
    DMS team is in the process of migration of the data quality solution which is currently on Informatica Data Quality to Azure Databricks. This offers a need for a challenging tester role within the team to ensure the testing aspects are covered and the transition of the data quality solution across the platforms is smooth.
    You are an active member of the Agile/Scrum team with your primary focus on Data Quality software operations and monitoring. You have broad knowledge of software development and knowledge about the business domain for which you work for. You dare to challenge and are open in your communication towards your own team, your customers and other stakeholders. You are eager to improve and take a leading role within the team on how to build, automate and streamline our processes.

YOU AND YOUR JOB:

  • Setting up testing process on the new platform.
  • Build and maintain the automated test framework for data quality processes.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand data quality requirements and workflows.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
  • Document and report test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the team.
  • Create test data for the current data quality set up adhering to the requirements of rules and by maintaining the data integrity and dependency.
