Junior Front-End Developer

• Full-time role available for an immediate start
• $70,000 to $80,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
• Artarmon location with flexible work arrangements

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career front-end developer who is detail-oriented, eager to learn and committed to writing quality code. We are looking for someone with around one year of experience, or strong practical exposure through study, projects or previous work, who is ready to grow their skills while supporting the development and maintenance of web-based applications.

The Role

As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will work with guidance and support to:

• Assist with the design and development of web-based software solutions
• Write clean, functional and maintainable front-end code under guidance
• Test applications, troubleshoot issues and support bug fixes
• Maintain clear programming documentation as part of the development process
• Build your technical capability through hands-on experience, mentoring and ongoing learning

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will bring a willingness to learn and some experience with, or exposure to:

• JavaScript and related front-end web technologies
• HTML, CSS and modern web development practices
• AngularJS or Angular, or a willingness to develop capability in these frameworks
• Basic understanding of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API or Entity Framework
• Basic MS SQL skills or a willingness to develop database knowledge
• An understanding of web services, including SOAP or REST, would be beneficial
• Experience using Git or a Git server, or a willingness to learn
• A positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to ask questions and take feedback
