JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Security Engineer to enhance the security posture of our software products. The preferred candidate will have a strong background in computer software security, proficient programming skills in C++ and Python, and Linux. A good understanding of networking and its impact on security is bonus. The Product Software Security Engineer works within Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J’s) product research and development focusing on security for robotic devices for medical technology. The position is in Santa Clara, CA and requires a presence on-site for 3 days a week

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $89,000 - $143,750
California Bay Area - The anticipated base pay range for this position is $103,000 - $165,600
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
