This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: NCR JobType: full-time The Software Engineer – DevOps will play a key role in driving infrastructure automation, reliability, and deployment excellence across engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cloud-native environments, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is passionate about enabling high-velocity software development. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, rapid, and reliable software releases. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for repeatable and compliant deployments. Automate manual workflows to improve system performance, uptime, developer productivity, and cost efficiency. Monitor systems end-to-end, proactively troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability and resilience. Participate in on-call rotation to manage production incidents and ensure timely resolution. Partner with software engineering teams to enhance deployment workflows, security standards, and operational best practices. Advocate for high standards in code quality, automation, observability, and DevOps culture through mentorship and knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field. 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation. Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Ruby, or similar). Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform. Solid understanding of AWS (preferred) or other cloud platforms like Azure / GCP. Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and database basics. Experience with monitoring & logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills. Nice to Have Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer). Contributions to open-source projects or public repositories. Experience supporting distributed microservices, containerized workloads, and cloud security best practices.
