JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales platforms to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce technologies and practices, as well as proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks to support our web development initiatives.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 0 to 1 startup experience: engineers who owned features, infra, or product areas (not just “worked on a team that built X”) with quality and speed
• Is truly a builder: did side projects for fun / open source / indie hacker energy
• Experience at VC-backed (Seed-Series B) startup
• Experience in e-commerce

SKILLS

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with data-heavy systems (event pipelines, analytics infra, personalization, AI/ML systems, messaging platforms, etc.)
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub and SVN.
• Understanding of application development principles in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively.

• BS/MS in CS or related field
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
  Pay: $61.18 - $73.68 per hour
  Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

• Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms to enhance user experience and drive sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective online marketing strategies.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate various services within the e-commerce ecosystem.
• Ensure the security of applications through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other security measures.
• Participate in software development projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of features.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance across all devices.
• Maintain IT infrastructure related to e-commerce operations, including server management on AWS or Azure.
• Support front-end development initiatives using JavaScript, React, and other relevant technologies.
• Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications for future reference.
