Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain software applications and digital solutions to support Elite Education Institute’s higher education operations, student services and administrative processes.
  • Analyse business and operational requirements from academic, administrative and student support teams, and translate them into technical specifications and software solutions.
  • Design and implement software architectures, application components and system functionalities to enhance the Institute’s student management systems, learning platforms and internal applications.
  • Develop, modify, test and maintain software applications using appropriate programming languages, frameworks and development tools to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
  • Write, review, debug and optimise software code to improve application functionality, maintainability, security and overall user experience.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between education platforms, databases, student information systems and third-party applications to support efficient data management and workflow automation.
  • Design, maintain and optimise database structures, queries and data processes to support academic administration, student records and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct software testing, troubleshooting and quality assurance activities to identify defects, resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability.
  • Implement software improvements and system enhancements based on evolving educational delivery requirements, compliance obligations and operational needs.
  • Apply software development methodologies, version control systems and development tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with academic, administrative and technology stakeholders to deliver software solutions that improve teaching support, student experience and institutional efficiency.
  • Identify and manage technical risks associated with software development, system upgrades and application changes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software designs, system workflows, configuration documents and user guides for internal stakeholders and end-users.

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
