Ferngrove Pharmaceuticals Australia is a TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) licensed Contract Manufacturing facility, specializing in complementary medicines and health food products, all manufactured under strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. The company is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join us in our head office on a permanent full-time basis.

About the role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for software development, software implementation, systems integration, business intelligence, reporting & support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate company needs in conjunction with those of the user and methodically conceptualize a systematic solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and web solutions that meet user requirements and business needs.
• Undertake systems analysis, design, programming and testing in relation to the detailed development, maintenance and enhancement of in-house developed software applications and maintenance of third-party and off the shelf applications that are utilised throughout the company
• Provided software deployment technical guidance to on-site implementation personnel.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, designers, and backend developers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end systems, APIs, and databases.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with the team to improve development processes, code efficiency, and overall project delivery.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Min 3 years’ experience in similar role
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
• English and Mandarin bilingual language skills are essential
