Job Description: Job Title – Software Engineer The Purpose of This Role As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral member of a dynamic global team building, upgrading, and maintaining multiple ALM tools and platforms like GitHub, Artifactory, CloudBees Jenkins Core, DevOps, etc. This would also give a wonderful opportunity to work on Kubernetes platforms- both Open source and Cloud-native. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to work on cutting edge architectures and services in enabling a suite of Self-Service capabilities within Enterprise Software Delivery Platforms in support of Fidelity’s digital transformation. The Value You Deliver Strong Engineering experience working on enterprise ALM platforms & reusable patterns (& not just at application level). Deep expertise in Jenkins template creation and standardization. Standardized Jenkins pipeline creation. Expertise on Jenkins Shared libraries. Integration of Jenkins pipeline into CI/CD workflows Strong scripting language expertise in Groovy & Shell Familiarity with build tools and programming languages: Maven, Node.js, Python, Go. Learning agility to evolve Jenkins pipelines to support new tools, technologies, and patterns. Foundational Cloud Skills experience: Cloud Platforms – Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure Kubernetes – Container orchestration and management. Docker – Containerization and image management. IaC – Terraform and/or Opentofu and/or CFT working experience The Skills that are Key to this role Technical / Behavioral Strong Technical skills DevOps, CICD, Deploy hands-on expertise. Clear Communication – Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across teams and Business Units. Proactive Problem-Solving – Self-driven approach to identifying and resolving issues. Adaptability – Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly. Automation-First mindset and experience in leading a team toward this Must be a quick learner, a team player, and adapt to new tools and technologies Running large, auto-scaling environments on-premise and/or in cloud is a plus Any certification in public Cloud (AWS/Azure) and/or Kubernetes is a plus Application Performance Monitoring Tools– AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code with experience in tools like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenTofu How Your Work Impacts the Organization: Fidelity Architecture and Engineering (FAE) is the business unit established with an aim to drive Platform and Architecture transformation at Fidelity.
