Description

We are currently looking for a software engineer to join the New Payment Rails (NPR) Instant Payment Clearing squad in Core Payments Platform tribe. You will have an important role in building the next generation payments processing system using modern technology stack.
The Core Payments Platform manages the accurate and prompt processing of payments, so it is a highly important area for the bank – it is the backbone of the bank. We play an essential role in building new payment solutions - we are responsible for the clearing of instant payments, integrating with the central bank as well as bank internal systems.
NPR Instant squad is distributed between Denmark and Lithuania. It is therefore essential to be comfortable working online together well.

Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and technologies to support various organisational functions, services, and products (including hands-on development of code).
  • Work with different tools and technologies: microservices written in Java 17 and 21, Maven, JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ, Cucumber, Apache Kafka (Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect), Protobuf, Elasticsearch, Argo CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, MSSQL, Git (Github)
  • Optimise relationships between development, IT operations and infrastructure teams to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Promote communication, integration, and teamwork across departments to streamline software development initiatives.
  • Incorporate the latest technology best practices to improve software performance and operational efficiency.
  • Apply broad technical knowledge across IT areas, including infrastructure, development, operations, and quality assurance.
  • Possibility to be “on call duty”. This is not a requirement, but an option if you would like.
